Robertson's Garage, Skelmorlie

| Date From | | Vehicles outside a stone built garage offering fuel and repairs. There had been a carriage hirer on this site since at least 1892. This photograph was probably taken after it was acquired and reconstructed by John Pearson around 1920. Before then, it was owned by John Robertson, grain merchant and garage proprietor, Largs, from about 1914 until he died in 1918. It was run by the tenant, John Dallas and Sons. |
